Unfortunatly, after the weekends result not being what I wanted, I'm now going to miss the opportunity to put things right as I am having to miss this weekends iROC event due to illness. It therefore looks like my season is not going to be truly kicking off until next month, when I take on Europe's best long distance duathletes at Powerman Luxembourg, followed 2 weeks later by the first World Cup Quadrathlon of the year in Ibiza!!Having woken Sunday morning with a head cold and swollen glands, I knew that if I wasn't 100% by today that the weekends racing up in Durham would be out of the question. For me it is a great disappointment, as iRoc has been billed as one of the big adventure events of the year - I have been really looking forward to it all winter as it looks like a fantastic course and exciting new format, as well as strong competition across all the events!
