The picture was taken last week, 1/5th of the way up mount Tedie.When you're riding up a 40km long, 3000m high road climb in 27c degree of heat, the mind has a tendency to drift off a little. "Thinking about the year ahead, the tough cold winter just passed, and how lucky I am to be living the dream....."
2009 is going to be my year! I've put in everything, sacrificed a lot, been high after the good times and low when things haven't quite gone right (just ask my girlfriend)! Now though there are only a few days left before the first race of the season, and already the excitement and nerves are building.
Roll on Saturday and bring on Round One of UK OffRoad Tri Series......
